Program: “Contemporary Issues Facing Men”: A Biweekly Discussion Group



Every other Thursday; that is, the second and fourth Thursday of each month, from 1700 to 1800.

The Men, Masculinity, and Gender Discussion Group is a new(ish) program that is intended to help facilitate conversation among its participants about the various issues affecting men and boys in today’s world. The group meets on the second and fourth Thursday of every month at 5 o’clock, and is open to people of all genders, ethnicities, ages, political leanings and sexual orientations. The program is hosted by Hayden Lunardo and Scott Boulton – two volunteers at the CCMF – at the office of the Canadian Centre for Men and Families (152 Carlton St. Unit 201).

  • Men’s Mental and Sexual Health
  • The Importance of Seeking Support
  • The Importance of Consent
  • Homelessness
  • Perceptions of Post-Secondary Education
  • Male Incarceration Rates
  • Domestic Abuse
  • Divorce, Separation, and Co-parenting
  • Society’s Expectations of Men and Boys
